Affiliate Disclosure

Transparency matters, especially for families making care decisions. This page explains how affiliate links are used on dementiaonline.org.

What affiliate links are

Some outbound links on this site — for example, links to books, care products, comfort items or other tools mentioned in blog posts and resource pages — are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and buy a product, we may receive a small commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you.

How we choose products

We only recommend products that we believe genuinely help people living with dementia and the families and caregivers supporting them. Recommendations are based on personal experience, caregiver feedback and independent research — not on the size of the commission.

Programs we participate in

Dementia Online participates in affiliate programs run by retailers and networks such as Amazon Associates and Commission Factory. New programs may be added over time. Where possible we label affiliate links clearly in the surrounding text.

Your price does not change

Using an affiliate link never increases the price you pay. Any commission we receive comes out of the retailer's margin and helps us keep the free parts of dementiaonline.org running.

Not medical advice

Product recommendations are for information and comfort only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Please consult a qualified health professional before making changes that could affect care.
