Terms of Service

Last updated 25 July 2026

These terms are maintained by Dementia Online and describe the agreement between you and us when you use this website or the Photobook Calendar App. They are not legal advice.

Using the service

Dementia Online provides information, resources and an app for families and caregivers supporting people living with dementia. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans (Medium and Full Feature) are billed monthly in your local currency through Stripe. The price shown at the time of purchase is fixed for the life of your subscription. You can cancel at any time from the billing screen; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Free trial

The Full Feature App includes a 10-day free trial. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — for example by uploading unlawful content, attempting to access other people's accounts, or interfering with the security or availability of the platform.

Your content

You keep ownership of photos, notes and care information you upload. You grant us the limited right to store and display that content back to you and to people you share links with, purely to provide the service.

Medical disclaimer

Content on this site and in the app is educational and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition.

Third-party services

The service relies on third parties including Lovable Cloud (hosting, database, storage, authentication) and Stripe (payments). Their terms and privacy policies also apply to the parts of the service they provide.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update features, and we may change these terms — material changes will be notified by email or in the app before they take effect.

Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that pose a security or legal risk.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dementia Online is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
